Description
Malossi Rear Shock Absorber for 150cc Primavera and SprintMalossi RS24 rear shock for the 2015 and newer Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint 150. Malossi shocks performer better and are more adjustable than the stock shocks, and are very high on the list of recommended upgrades for Piaggio and Vespa owners.
These are a direct swap for the original shocks on a Vespa Primavera or Sprint 150. Bolt right on, just remove the old shock and install the new one. You will feel so much more confident in turns and better planted when stopping and accelerating. It's kind of amazing how soft the stock shocks are once you try these. The spring Pre-load is infinitely adjustable for different rider weights, and the dampening is also adjustable (unlike the stock shock).
Components are made of hardened and tempered Swedish steel, Lubriflon guides, sintered bronze bushings, low carbon impregnated steel, Sealthane scraper rings, and special low viscosity oil that's unaffected by temperature change. Translation for the rest of us: Malossi really cares about these shocks and uses the highest quality parts in their construction.
This part fits:
-Vespa Primavera 150cc (2015-Current)
-Vespa Sprint 150cc (2015-Current)
The Malossi RS24 is one of the most popular shocks in the European Scooter Cup and other racing series. Its compact design belies its high tech interior. The damping process takes place in two separate chambers, one filled with gas, the other with oil. This ingenious solution makes the use of a separate external reservoir redundant. The spring preload is continuous and the damping feature has 24 adjustment possibilities.
